Getting cold feet: dibyendu bhattacharya
Actor Dibyendu Bhattacharya, who was recently seen in the anthology series Ray, inspired by the writings of Satyajit Ray, recalls the time when he actually dialled the late auteur’s number.
“I once dialled his number back in the 90s and he answered the phone at the other end! But I chickened out and disconnected right away,” recalls the actor.
In Ray, Dibyendu shares screen space with Kay Kay Menon with whom he had earlier worked in Black Friday and Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi.

All you can do is persevere, give your 100 per cent, and wait for your chance.’

‘Thrillers have been popular across generations because these films have a very gripping nature. The audience is involved for the two hours of the film. You feel like you are also one of the judges, trying to find out who has done it and that is why you stay connected to the film if it is written and done well.’
