Feel like outsider: Sharman

Actor Sharman Joshi has worked in Bollywood for over two decades now. While he understands how the film industry and the connections work, he says he still feels like an outsider and feels sorry for himself for not being connected to the star parivaars of Bollywood.

“I understand that there is a certain monogamy of certain generations of families that have been in business, and tomorrow my children would.”

Fairtalk - Amit Sial

‘I don’t want to take up any cop role for sure. I really want to cut down on playing intense roles as it’s started to play with my head. I want to do lighter roles, common man roles… even a dark comedy would do. Actors get stereotyped in everything. It’s your responsibility how to get out of it. You need to think about yourself, no one else will.’

Dailytalk - Vishal Mishra

‘I think artistes who are constantly writing music, putting out videos, and entertaining everyone since the last one year while staying at home are also acting like frontline workers. Artistes are frontline workers. Our audience never knows what mental condition we are going through while singing a song but what keeps us going is their love.’

I am warm with my children: Jolie

Actor Angelina Jolie said that she makes sure to always be very warm and gentle when it comes to her kids.

She added that this is something that she has learnt from her late mother Marcheline Bertrand.

She said, “My mother was very gentle. I can be many things in my work and in my life, but I am very warm and gentle with my children. That kindness and warmth is a foundation that’s unbelievably important.”
