‘Actors can bring societal change’
Actor Rani Mukerji believes that cinema has the power to impact societal change.
Says she, “Actors have the power to talk to people and seed the thought of positive change through their choice of films. I have been fortunate as an artiste to get projects that had strong female protagonists, and to be honest, I have also consciously tried to seek out such projects.”
The actor reveals that she had a specific plan in mind while choosing such roles and films. “I wanted my work to portray my intent. I’m happy that I chose well,” adds she.
‘January 26 is not just a holiday. People just think of it as a dry day and probably get upset too because of this. I don't drink but a lot of my friends are like, ‘26th January is coming and we won't get liquor!' It's a day that is just considered a holiday now, which is sad. It is so upsetting to see that you are an Indian and you totally ignore such an important day.’

Actor Kareena Kapoor Khan has shared what would be the only situation when one could find her lowering her head.
Kareena posted a video from a shoot on Instagram. In the clip, she is seen sporting a black dress with a thigh high slit.
“If I ever let my head down, it'll be to admire my heels #FeelItReelIt,” she wrote as the caption.
She is all set to welcome her second child with actor-husband Saif Ali Khan.
Safety is priority: Halsey
Singer Halsey has cancelled her tour, which was originally scheduled to take place in 2020.
“Safety is the priority. I wish things were different. I love you,” she tweeted.
“Despite our absolute best efforts, there is no guarantee I'll be able to tour the currently scheduled dates. I miss seeing all of you in the crowd every night more than anything, but I need to prioritise your health and safety. That being said, the Manic tour is now officially cancelled. As much as we wanted to hold out hope that this tour could eventually happen, our priority is now getting your ticket money back to you immediately,” she added.
