I feel lucky and privileged: Sara

Actor Sara Ali Khan is happy with the way her career is going.

Ever since her debut in the 2018 release Kedarnath, she has worked with bigwigs such as Abhishek Kapoor, Rohit Shetty and Imtiaz Ali, and she is all set to end the year 2020 with the David Dhawan directorial Coolie No. 1 opposite Varun Dhawan. The film is a remake of 1995 hit of the same name starring Govinda and Karisma Kapoor.

“I feel lucky and privileged. I think films are a director’s medium and you are as good as your director, and I have luckily had the opportunity to work with extremely versatile and amazing directors. I hope I keep getting opportunities to work with creative people like I have,” said Sara.

‘Most of my scenes in my  forthcoming crime drama web series Criminal Justice: Behind Closed Doors are with Pankaj Tripathi. He is very simple and easy to work with and be around. He did his thing and I did mine, and it all went very smooth. There were other wonderful actors too and it was a treat to work with all of them.’

Actor Bhumi Pednekar is a climate warrior and she has now engaged in a new effort to work at spreading awareness about carbon footprint.

The actor has joined hands with the global citizen initiative named Count Us In. She will work closely to inspire and educate Indians towards reducing carbon footprint.

Says she, “Protecting the environment has become my mission and I’m thrilled to raise awareness towards climate change in India. Christiana Figueres is an inspirational human and I look forward to work with her on this issue.”

‘Don’t have a mobile or a computer’

Oscar-winning actor Christopher Walken is not big on technology and he says he does not own a cellphone or a computer.

During an interview on The Late Show, Walken told the host, “Somebody had to come and set this up because I don’t have a cellphone or a computer.”

The host asked if Walken had a moral reason for avoiding technology. “No, no. I just got to it too late. And I never got involved in it because it would be strange to have any 10-year-old be much better at it than I am,” the 77-year-old replied.
