Deepika’s smile featured in Athens

Actor Deepika Padukone has been featured at Athens International Airport, in an exhibition of ‘The Authentic Smiles of People of the World.’

The Authentic Smiles Campaign was put together when the Athens International Airport resumed welcoming guests after a break due to COVID-19.

Her fans in Athens can see the grey marble sculpture of the heroine. It is draped in a saree and is embellished with a choker necklace and a small bindi. The text reads, “Indian Bollywood Actress smiles at Athens International Airport. Grey Marble, 2020 A.D.”

‘It finally feels like this is my time and may it never pass. I want to give the audience one memorable film after another, one great role after another. Entertaining the world has been my long-standing wish. I want to do one hell of a job at it. 2020 was rude to the world. But I have nothing but gratitude for how my career and roles have shaped up.’

Actor Sonu Sood, who is in the limelight for the charity work he has been doing during lockdown, says the kind of roles coming his way have changed.

He said, “The kind of roles that are being offered to me now are different. They are larger than life, and real life hero roles. Things that I have done in real life, they are trying to put that in my scripts, too, which is different. I have to make sure that I live up to the expectations and do justice with whatever I do. There is a huge amount of responsibility.”

Sonu is now hosting Bharat Ke Mahaveer, which tells the stories of kindness in pandemic.

Nick to do a cameo in Priyanka’s next

Pop star Nick Jonas will be seen alongside his wife, actor Priyanka Chopra, in a cameo role in her forthcoming Hollywood romantic drama, Text For You.

The news spread after Nick was spotted shooting a scene in a cab along with Priyanka in London.

The pair are thought to be shooting a tense argument scene as Priyanka was overheard saying, “Get out of my cab,” while in character. Nick was then seen opening the door of the cab and stepping out.

Written and directed by Jim Strouse, the film is an English remake of the German-language film, SMS Fur Dich, based on Sofie Cramer's novel.
