Sanya works without a script
Actor Sanya Malhotra spoke about why working with filmmaker Anurag Basu was an unusual experience. She is part of Basu’s forthcoming dark comedy anthology Ludo.
“I was approached by him almost two years back for this film. He explained the gist of the story and when I asked him about the script, he simply laughed it out. He said, ‘let’s go on set and decide'. We did a meeting before the shoot. Dada explained to me what is going to happen to my character in the script, again in a gist,” Sanya recalled.
“I always read my script very religiously before stepping in front of the camera with my character. For the first time, I couldn’t believe that I have to work without the script,” she said.
‘(Author) Manu Joseph once wrote an article about me and said that ‘I’m the collector of frail men'. Now, I see myself as much more frail after the pandemic. I don’t know this whole experience of the pandemic. I’ve lost a bit of my swag. When I saw myself terrified, holding my father in my arms and running towards an ICU, and then watching him die, that has done something.’

Actor Koena Mitra has a serious allegation against the microblogging platform Twitter. She claims Twitter is shadow banning her account and suspending her followers drastically.
She said, “Actors should be politically correct but when it comes to voicing my opinion on something, I tend to choose sides at times, even on political topics. When I see riots or chaos or a debate, instead of being diplomatic, I choose sides when I feel like. I think they don’t like it.”
Koena also shared the figures by how much her follower count has reduced.
Beyonce says 2020 changed her
Singer Beyonce Knowles has shared how the year has brought about changes in her.
“It would be difficult to experience life in a pandemic and the current social unrest and not be changed. I have learnt that my voice is clearer when I am still,” she said.
“I truly cherish this time with my family, and my new goal is to slow down and shed stressful things from my life. I came into the music industry at 15 years old and grew up with the world watching, and I have put out projects non-stop,” she added.
She recalled her “back-to-back” projects over the last four years, starting with her 2016 album Lemonade and ending with her 2020 visual album Black Is King.
