‘Role in Saand Ki Aankh was tough’
It was not at all easy for Bhumi Pednekar to play the role of older woman in the film, Saand Ki Aankh.
Bhumi played the role of Chandro Tomar, the oldest sharp shooter in India, who along with her sister (played by Taapsee Pannu) has won laurels for India.
Recalling the challenges faced to play the role, Bhumi said: “I think SKA, in terms of difficulty where the physical work was concerned, was quite high because the make-up was specialised and that was honestly very tough to be in. Through that experience the make-up was so harsh on the skin to a point that I had actually burnt my skin and I had very major allergic reaction.”
‘I support the idea of people not flocking to Puja pandals this year. It is important that people should stay home and make their offerings to the goddess from home. I know it is tough for Bengalis not to venture out wearing new clothes, eat out and have bhog, but if you want to see next year's Puja, you have to make sure you stay safe and don't catch the virus.’

Taapsee Pannu is tired of straightening her curly locks for her forthcoming film, Haseen Dillruba.
She shared her “curly hair” problems in an Instagram post.
“Last few days on #HaseenDillruba and that's my face when I have to roast my hair to straighten them everyday,” she wrote along with a picture in which she gives a puffy-faced expression.
She tagged her post with #CurlyHairIssues, #LookChange and #StressfulStraight.
