Need to get back in shape: Kangana

Actor Kangana Ranaut put on 20 kilos for her role as late Tamil politician J Jayalalithaa in the biopic, Thalaivi, and is now working at returning to her earlier size, agility, metabolism and flexibility.

Tweeting a photo from her workout session, Kangana wrote, “I had gained 20 kgs for Thalaivi, now that we are very close to completing it, need to go back to my earlier size, agility, metabolism and flexibility. Waking up early and going for a jog/walk... who all are with me?”

She had recently shared that she has completed the latest schedule of the forthcoming biopic.

‘For many years I had the want to go vegetarian but breaking habits are the toughest thing to do. My journey with Climate Warrior taught me a lot of things and I just didn’t feel like eating meat anymore. I took a call during lockdown. It was something that happened organically. It’s been six months and I’m good and guilt free.’

Filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri says it takes a lot of courage to speak up against the powerful people of the film industry.

Agnihotri opened up on the subject when he expressed his opinion on 34 Bollywood production houses and four film associations filing a civil suit in Delhi High Court against certain news channels for allegedly defaming the industry.

“Can the public sue Bollywood for destroying music, lyrics, language, art, creativity, social fabric and culture of India?” he tweeted.

Life is like building a spider web: Ethan

Actor Ethan Hawke compares living life to building a spider web, saying each moment, success and challenges are connected to each other beautifully.

“Life is a lot like building a spider web. You kind of jump from one corner to the next,” Hawke said.

“The little journeys don’t seem significant. But look back and see the whole journey, you see how they are all connected to each other beautifully. The parts that were most challenging, were where the most growth happened. I’m very grateful to my craft and my profession because it allows you to meet all kinds of people,” he added.
