Alia resumes shoot post lockdown

Actor Alia Bhatt is happy to resume shooting after the long spell of lockdown. She shared her excitement in a new Instagram post. In the clip, Alia is seen using a face roller.

“What day is it? It’s a shoot day,” she wrote with the video, although she did not reveal what she was shooting for.

On the work front, Alia's latest release is Sadak 2. Released on an OTT platform, the film has been facing negative reviews and response.

The film has tackled heavy trolling ever since the first look of the film was launched. On August 16, it was reported that the film's trailer had emerged the third most disliked video in the world and the most disliked YouTube video in India.

‘If someone calls me for a role, I first ask them if I have to dance, fight or drive, because I can’t do those things. I accept it. But if you ask me to say a monologue for an hour, I can do that easily. That’s my strength. I can say that I am an actor with limitations. I don’t think there is anything wrong in accepting the things I can’t do.’

The year 2020 has been etched in everybody’s minds for all the wrong reasons. Given the pandemic, everyone has faced setbacks. However, it’s for us to decide how to overcome these setbacks and march ahead.

The will and determination to move forward comes from within, and the 12th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) gears up for the comeback with the thought — Jo Bhi Ho, Setback Ka Jawaab Comeback Se Do.

The campaign of this season brings forth relatable examples, through humane stories, which inspire and encourage people to make a greater comeback in life.

Boseman honoured at VMAs

Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman, whose death last week came as a shock to many, received a one-minute tribute at MTV Video Music Awards.

“The world needs more superheroes,” a title card read at the beginning of the segment.

Back in 2018, he used the award ceremony to put the spotlight on a real life hero. “Receiving an award for playing a superhero is amazing. But, it's even greater to acknowledge the heroes that we have in real life. So I just want to acknowledge somebody that's here today — James Shaw Jr. If you don't know him, he fought off a gunman in Antioch, Tennessee, at a Waffle House, saved lives. God bless you,” Boseman had said.
