Pregnancy has been surreal: Kalki
Actor Kalki Koechlin says the whole experience of pregnancy has been surreal for her, and has altered her watching habits.
“I’ve always loved watching films of different kinds but my choices have been fluctuating like crazy these last few months,” Kalki said.
“Good content on Hotstar Premium is what has been keeping my content cravings satisfied. Having travelled the world, gorging on multi-ethnic films and shows from around the globe, I realised just how many scripts and books brimming with brilliance are waiting to be introduced to us,” added she.
‘I never wanted to be part of a remake again (after Kabir Singh). I wanted to do an original film because people might think I am only doing remakes but when I saw Jersey, it touched my heart. I could relate with the story. I feel you should do things you love or feel connected to, whether you get success or not. That’s the message of this film. I cried four times when I saw the film.’

Actor Richa Chadha says women are still paid lesser than their male counterparts in the film business across the world despite all the talk on discrepancies.
“We have been discussing the discrepancies between male and female remuneration in every industry for quite some time now. Making up for the gap in remuneration has taken us years. Across the film business globally, women are still paid lesser compared to their male counterparts but there’s been some changes happening on that front in some parts,” Richa said.
Marriage Story leads at Globes
Actor Scarlett Johansson’s Marriage Story dominates the film nominations list at the 77th annual Golden Globe Awards with six nods, followed by Martin Scorsese's The Irishman and Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt, with five nominations each.
The R-rated comicbook hit Joker, starring Joaquin Phoenix, and Netflix's The Two Popes landed four nominations each.
On the television side, Chernobyl, The Crown and Unbelievable were on top of the nomination list with four nods each.
