Diwali is family time: Yami
Actor Yami Gautam, who features in the forthcoming Ayushmann Khurrana-starrer Bala, opted out of promotional activity of the film during Diwali because she wanted to be with her family in Chandigarh to celebrate the festival.
“Diwali is family time for me ever since I was a little girl. Every year I like to dedicate these few days to my family, spend time being pampered by my parents and siblings, away from the hustle-bustle of the city. My hometown brightens up during the festive season and just being there with everyone makes me feel assured that home is never far away,” said Yami.
‘The show, No Filter Neha, is always defined by the guests and, importantly, the listeners and the fan base. The one thing I have learnt is that the more candid, the more free flowing, the more unending the conversation, the more fun it is to listen. We always talk to our guests as if no one else is listening. That's what makes it the most fun.’

Actor Parineeti Chopra, who is all set to play Saina Nehwal on screen, will be visiting the ace badminton player's home for the first time as part of preparation for her role.
“I want to become Saina. For that I want to go to her house and see how she lives. We have met many times but this time I want to go to her house, live like her and eat like her for a day. She has promised me that her mother will feed me the exact food that Saina eats. So I am excited to go to her house and live her life for one whole day,” Parineeti said.
‘Found acting offensive earlier’
Actor Michael Douglas did not enjoy acting when he began his career.
The Wall Street star explains he did not find his profession fun at first because he had a hard time being in front of the camera. “I did not like the camera, I found it very offensive. I had a lot of stage fright. A lot of times I wondered why I kept doing it because it wasn’t fun.”
However, after Douglas adjusted his mindset, he began to appreciate his craft more.
“At a certain point in my career, I changed a couple attitudes, a couple little decisions that I made and it became much more pleasant,” he added.
