Journalists boycott Kangana
Members of the Entertainment Journalists' Guild of India have collectively decided to boycott actress Kangana Ranaut and demanded a public apology following an ugly spat between the national award-winning actress and a journalist.
The angry exchange took place recently during the song launch of the actress’ forthcoming film Judgementall Hai Kya, in the presence of producer Ekta Kapoor and actor Rajkummar Rao.
The members have now sent a letter to Ekta, where Kangana's behaviour has been termed as “un-called for.” The film is set to release on July 26.

Filmmaker Rima Das has proven her mettle as an Indian director travelling with her cinema globally, earning several honours and accolades.
Her Assamese language film Village Rockstars won the National Award for Best Feature Film in 2018 and was even India’s official entry to the Oscars.
Das has since then been a leading name globally taking Indian cinema to new heights and accomplishing new feats.
Now her new feature, Bulbul Can Sing is all set to be the opening night film of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne.
Beyoncé drops her new song
Singer Beyoncé has dropped a new original song from Disney’s live-action Lion King.
The song Spirit was released on Tuesday and should get an Academy-Award push for Academy Award consideration.
The tune comes at a pivotal moment for Nala, the character voiced by Beyoncé, in the film that comes out July 18.
She also co-wrote the song.It’s part of an album called The Lion King: The Gift that Beyoncé is executive producing and performing on along with other artists. It will be released digitally July 11, with the physical album coming July 19.The collection is a companion to the main Lion King soundtrack, which consists mostly of songs from the animated film.
