Arjun moved by Broadway
Actor Arjun Kapoor watched To Kill a Mockingbird on Broadway and said it punched him hard in the gut.
“As actors, we become numb to consuming other works because we know the process to a certain degree but every once in a while something comes about and punches you in the gut so hard... so I saw To Kill a Mockingbird on Broadway,” Arjun wrote on social media.
The 34-year-old-actor said he “felt humbled, felt emotional, felt a surge of anger, confusion, sadness and hope all together” after watching the play.
“It's based in America, post the Civil War but it is still relevant across the world even more so today... each and every actor was sublime,” he added.

Until I started performing in public, when at the end of the concert people would come to me with teary eyes and say that my performance took them to a trance zone, I had no idea that I can create an impact with my singing.’

Actor Ajay Devgn launched NY Cinemas, his new venture’s first thematic multiplex, in Ratlam.
The new two-screen multiplex hosts Ratlam’s biggest screen with a capacity of 460 seats, 3D-equipped 2K projection and 7.1 surround sound, bringing the latest in multiplex technology to the city. The biggest attraction is its railways-inspired interior which transports one through the different ages of the train.
It also introduces the concept of ‘Photo Time Machine’ where movie-goers can teleport themselves to different eras.
Halle bags role in The Little Mermaid
Singer Halle Bailey has been roped in to play Ariel in the remake of The Little Mermaid.
The reboot of the 1989 classic will be directed by Rob Marshall. After bagging the lead role in the film, Halle expressed her happiness on social media. “Dream come true, the warrior,” the singer captioned.
Zendaya, who was earlier rumoured to play Ariel, congratulated Halle on the role.
“Yes!! Here for this,” Zendaya tweeted sharing a link of a news article about the casting.
