Ayushmann’s quest for talent
Actor Ayushmann Khurrana has recently initiated a musical talent hunt on his social media. Titled Jam Sessions, he opened doors to talented musicians who would get a chance to jam with him and also be a part of a video that would be recorded exclusively. “The talent hunt has gotten fantastic responses from all over the world. He expected only local entries but he is surprised and overwhelmed to see the entries coming in from all parts of the world. So far, he has received 400 plus entries from singers, musicians and composers,” says a source close to this project.

Sridevi’s Mom marches gloriously at the China Box Office.
The film that registered staggering numbers on day one, continued the trend and collected 40.26 million Yuan (Rs 41.34 crore) on its opening weekend, racing past Padman, Sultan, Thugs of Hindustan and Hitchki. Produced by Zee studios and Boney Kapoor Productions, Mom was released in China on May 10 in 38,500 screen sessions.
Jodie’s Killing Eve wins big at BAFTA
America drama Killing Eve was the biggest winner at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) gala.
The hit show took home three trophies, for best drama series, best actress for Jodie Comer and best supporting actress for Fiona Shaw.
The first award of the night saw Sky Atlantic and Showtime's Patrick Melrose beat out strong competition from A Very English Scandal to take home the prize for best miniseries.
Actor Benedict Cumberbatch bagged the best leading actor prize for his performance in the show. “I'm very used to being the bridesmaid,” said Cumberbatch, who won the award from his seventh BAFTA TV Award nomination.
