‘Character in Kalank is special’

Actor Sanjay Dutt’s forthcoming film Kalank’s character is very special to him as he shares his name with his father. While Sunil Dutt was one of the most respected celebrities of the industry, not many know that his real name was Balraj Dutt. In the film, Sanjay essays the character of Balraj Choudhary, therefore, it has been a surreal experience for him. Sanjay shared a very endearing relationship with his father and has been extremely close to him. Through the years, the actor has always exhibited immense love and respect towards the late actor. The film releases on April 17.

‘Acting is keeping me busy. I intend to do a single but I am not able to just sit down and do it. It will happen. I don’t know when. It’s very time consuming. I’d rather do something else. But one cannot undermine it completely. There is a way business works every time. I am proud of kids who can manage everything.’

The film fraternity welcomed actor Irrfan Khan back with open arms as the actor, who was lying low for months following neuroendocrine tumour diagnosis and treatment, took to social media to express gratitude to those who gave him love and support to help him get through his tough phase.

It was in March last year that Irrfan had announced his diagnosis and said that he was going abroad for treatment. He returned to India in February this year, and made a rare media appearance last month at Mumbai airport. But he seemed to be avoiding paparazzi.

Justin is sorry for his prank

Singer Justin Bieber has apologised to his fans for sharing a fake pregnancy post on April Fools’ Day.

A news article read, “Justin Bieber slammed on social media for fake pregnancy news,” he took to Instagram and wrote: “There are people who are always going be offended, and who don’t take jokes very well. I am a prankster and it was April Fools. I didn’t at all mean to be insensitive to people who can’t have children.”

He added, “I will apologise, take responsibility and say sorry to people who were offended. I truly don’t want anyone to be hurt by a prank. You sometimes just don’t know what will hurt someone’s feelings.”
