‘Don't understand agenda of Pak’
Veteran lyricist-screenwriter Javed Akhtar says he does not understand the agenda of Pakistan to sponsor terrorist activities in India. “I don't understand what will they get out of it by constantly sponsoring terrorism. It's an open truth that they support terrorist organisations but they are constantly denying it,” Akhtar said.
“This situation is actually being forced upon us (India). It was not our choice but if things go beyond control, then till when and how many times, should we be quiet about this? So, we have to react to it some day or the other. Repercussions of the current developments are really dangerous. We should ban terrorism. It's an unfortunate thing,” he added.
‘When a hero is away from a screen for a long time, no one asks him when he would be making a comeback, but actresses have to face this question, ‘When are you coming back in films.’ If actresses are not doing films for sometime, it's their personal choice. Like other people, our priorities also differ from time to time.’

Poet, filmmaker, and lyricist Gulzar says that he always wanted to work with the late iconic filmmaker Satyajit Ray. With his association on Goopi Gawaiya Bagha Bajaiya, he feels his wish has been fulfilled in some way. Gulzar is happy that for the forthcoming animation film, he has translated the original Goopi Gawaiya Bagha Bajaiya, written by Ray's grandfather. On his desire of working on children's literature and entertainment, Gulzar said, “I always had the wish to work with Ray saab. After the success of Goopi Gyne... in Bengali, which Ray made based on a book written by his grandfather Upendrakishore Ray Chowdhury, we were supposed to make it in Hindi. Though I started writing the script in Hindi, after a point, he dropped the idea. I was pretty upset because I so wanted to work with him.”
Chrissy finds it tough to splurge
Actress Chrissy Metz says she cried for an hour before her first big splurge after booking This Is Us.
The actress, who has long been open about her financial journey, spoke about some of the biggest money mistakes she made before landing a starring role on This Is Us.
“I think it was really the fear of not having it, so I wouldn't even look at it. If I had a certain amount of money I didn't even think about budgeting it because ‘Oh it's going to be gone anyway so I'll just spend it'. Instead of actually being smart and educating myself on how to save,” she said. But even with steady paychecks coming in,
Metz said she finds it difficult to let herself splurge.
