Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s surreal wedding in Italy at Lake Como has incited a new controversy among the Sikh community. It has been alleged that the couple’s Anand Karaj ceremony has violated the Sikh code of conduct as the Akal Takht sternly prohibits taking Guru Granth Sahib to any place outside a gurudwara, particularly a hotel, resort or a pleasure palace. The president of an Italian Sikh organisation has taken up this matter further to the Akal Takht Jathedar for action.
The latter has said that once they receive a formal complaint, the matter will be forwarded to five high priests, who will then take a decision.

Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan said that her step-daughter Sara Ali Khan is a born star.
She shares a warm bond with Sara, who will soon mark her Hindi film debut with Kedarnath. At the trailer launch of the film, the debutante had said that she wants to imbibe the professionalism of Kareena. On her part, Kareena said, “I am quite sure that the film will be a super hit but irrespective of that, I think she is a born star.”
Featuring Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead, Kedarnath is set against the backdrop of the devastation that struck the holy shrine in 2013.
Moore marries Goldsmith
Actress-singer Mandy Moore and Taylor Goldsmith married in an intimate boho-style backyard ceremony at her home here. The star and the musician walked down the aisle at sunset in front of just 50 guests, including Mandy's co-stars Milo Ventimiglia and Chrissy Metz, three years after meeting on Instagram.
The actress is said to have arranged “very boho” nuptials with “rugs on the floor surrounding the altar” and a selection of “beautiful” floral arrangements. Minka Kelly, Milo Ventimiglia, Chrissy Metz and Mandy's former flame Wilmer Valderrama were among the guests.
