Amyra joins Made in China

Actress Amyra Dastur, who has joined the cast of Made In China, says she has to bring her best on the sets of the movie because she finds co-star Rajkummar Rao an extraordinary actor.

“I'm really happy with the films I have managed to bag during this year. People are definitely going to see a different side of me in this film as well. All I can say about my look is that my fans and the audience will definitely take a moment or two to recognise me in this film,” Amyra said. This will be the second time Amyra and Rajkummar will be working together.

‘We can't expect Loveyatri to be the biggest disaster ever, so we all want this film to be a big hit, but only Friday will tell us whether the leading pair and director of the film is appreciated or not. We have worked really hard to make this film. It will be very nice to hear positive responses from audience.’

He added, "With Bigg Buzz, I can now live every part of the show and Salman's weekend ka vaar through this unique segment as well.”

Monroe’s car up for auction

Late veteran star Marilyn Monroe's black Ford Thunderbird is up for auction. The car is expected to fetch up to $500,000 when it goes under the hammer at Julien's Auctions event in November. Monroe owned the car from 1955 to 1962 after buying it before she married playwright Arthur Miller. She passed it on as an 18th birthday gift to John Strasberg, the son of director and acting coach Lee Strasberg and his wife, Paula. The legal transfer of the vehicle took place months before Monroe's death on August 5, 1962. “Once in a while something comes along that has a powerful magic, because of everything and everyone associated with it,” said Darren Julien, the president and CEO of Julien's Auctions.
