Ravindra Nath, chairman-cum-managing director, National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) inaugurated NSIC’s annual review conference (ARC) at Mussoorie, Uttarakhand. All zonal heads, heads of NSIC’s technical centres and all branch heads met where their business performances for 2014-15 were reviewed by CMD and director (planning and marketing) and business strategies/targets for the year 2015-16 were finalised for each branch/technical centre.
Nath also felicitated the heads whose zones and branches excelled in their performance during past year, with ‘Certificate of Appreciation’ . P Udaya kumar, director (planning and marketing), NSIC was also present on the occasion.
A two-day training programme was also the part of ARC where zonal/branch heads deliberated on various contemporary issues including setting up of livelihood business incubators under the scheme ‘ASPIRE’ of government of India for MSMEs, implementation of ERP in NSIC, advanced IT interventions, corporate governance and vigilance — inculcating operational and functional discipline, compliance of RBI guidelines et al.
