Khadi & Village Industries Commission (KVIC) has launched summer collection at its Khadi India showroom, Connaught Place, New Delhi. KVIC chairman, VK Saxena inaugurated the exhibition. The date has been specially selected for the launch of Summer Collection because it is the 61st Foundation Day of Khadi India Showroom at Connaught Place.
Saxena inaugurated the exhibition by paying tribute to Mahatma Gandhi and lightening the traditional lamp. Naresh Pal, joint CEO, KVIC and other senior officers were present. On this occasion Saxena honoured five employees of Khadi India showroom who have completed 25 years of service.
Products launched are from white to colored khadi dress materials, ready-mades including designer collections have been displayed for sale. Special 20 per cent discount will be given on these products.
This is for the first time KVIC has launched summer collection where in-house and outside designers are displaying their range of garments.
