In case you are planning a summer makeover, trendy footwear can be a lot of help to you. Find out what’s in trend

Give your favourite stilettoes a rest this season. Stuff your racks with wedges high heels, metallic shoes with transparent details, and architectural designs. Ankle strap is also ‘in’ this season.

Go for the colour

Don’t try to hide the bright neon nailpaint under the regular black and grey shoes. Opt for the coral, mint and other pastel shades. Sea blue, pale pink, pastel purple, light yellow and aqua shades have been ruling the international runways and get these colours for yourslef too. Gold is in trend these days: heels, linings, embellishments it can be anything golden on your show. The best part of shoes with the golden touch is that they can be worn with  any colour — black, white, light neutral. They are available at pocket-friendly prices. Black shimmer heels are in vogue as they bring you that extra dose of glam that will complete any evening or special occasion look.

Block the heels

We agree that shimmering stuff might not be your style, but how about a classic black heels with sparkling block heelsIJ We are sure that won’t be too much of show off. This season it is time to experiment with heels. From the pointed ones to the block heels and wedges, try different styles on different days. Heels with chess prints or simply in the classic combination of black and white can be worn at formal or casual occasions

Return of the pumps

Though pumps were never really out of fashion, but just in case you never had a chance to own one, this is the time. Rather than going for an elongated, pointed toes; choose a square or almond shape.

Animal prints

leopard and reptile prints are selling like hot cakes this season. Easily available in the market, one can wear them with neutral shade dresses or even with printed dresses. But a word of caution — take note of the kind of prints you are teeming and make sure you do not end up looking like dressed up for a Hawaiin party.
