Mist at The Park has a new menu to suit the palate of well-travelled guests who are very discerning about world cuisine
It’s true that tradition doesn’t lose its charm but when it comes to food, along with desi, cuisines from the rest of the world have been in demand as well. We are now a well-travelled lot, exposed to world cuisine and diverse flavours. To cater to the taste of those guests who care for authentic flavours from across the world, executive chef Abhishek Basu at Mist, The Park hotel, have revamped the menu. While the earlier one was crafted keeping in mind the Indian palate, the new menu focusses on authenticity.
Japanese cuisine is a new addition as it is not just the international guests, but also Indians, who love gorging on sushis and sashimis. New entries are made in the Pan Asian, European and Italian section, too.
The menu features parmersan crusted polenta, Indonesian chicken satay, seared scallops with prosciutto di parma, prawn tempur a, mezze platter and tenderloin steak.
Australian lamb chops are served with beans and potato wedges. Condiments of this dish have a unique aroma further enhancing its taste.
“In case of Australian lamb chops, the meat can be cooked as per your choice ranging from rare, medium-rare, medium and well-done. The rare choice is seldom as the meat is almost raw. Medium is the more preferred one, as it retains the juices. lamb chops are served according to the choice of the guest. They might prefer it with mashed potatoes, potato wedges or with beans,” says Abhishek.
He adds, “Everything is prepared keeping in mind the present clientele who are well-travelled and are eager to experiment. We aim to continue serving our loyal guests with our signature offerings and attracting new guests with some innovative ideas.”
