The Vezley Foods is showcasing its range of soya-based products for the vegetarian food lovers at the ongoing 33rd International Crafts Mela at Surajkund in Faridabad. The visitors to the fair can enjoy finger-licking snacks like nugget's, shawarma, chop sticks and soya chhika.
The company’s managing director, Amit Bajaj said, “Unfortunately soya has been ignored in the food market for a long time. We have introduced this magic bean with a new thought which tastes good too. Today we face many health related problems like blood pressure, obesity, diabetes and so on and one of the biggest reasons behind this is an unbalanced and an unhealthy diet. Our products are an alternate to junk food since they are healthy. We believe in healthy and delicious food for all and no compromise is made with the quality, hygienic and the nutrition value of the products.”
Commenting on the health benefits of the key ingredient—soya, Bajaj said that soya is one of the best sources of protein. Soya has a substance named Lecithin, which is very good for the skin and is also beneficial for a healthy heart. “Soya contains all essential amino acid proteins which are required for the body. Besides, soya is rich in vitamin, carbohydrate, fibre, iron and calcium and can provide all necessary nutrition to the body in case one does not consume meat, fish or eggs. One can consume good, unsaturated fat from soya which controls cholesterol,” added Bajaj.
