Dr Prithipal Singh Sethi, a general physician who is also a passionate artist, is presenting his first solo exhibition of abstract art titled SoulScapes.
A self taught artist, Dr Sethi presents SoulScapes as a series of paintings dedicated to 'celebrations in hope' where the colours spread the cheer. During the lockdown phase, where every day was chaotic and challenging for him professionally, Dr Sethi found paintings as an escape route from despair. Art became a symphony of inner music wherein nuances of colour and variations of stroke create magical and dreamlike visuals on blank canvases.
He has experimented in giving speech and life to mute landscapes, waterscapes, mindscapes and skyscapes. Paintings like Migration 2020, Night Vigil, The Sacrifice, and more will be displayed.
