We’ve had help for what to wear according to our body type, now it’s time to pick the right sunglasses on the basis of face cut
Call them glares, call them shades or just plain sunglasses, but a good pair of them not only rises the style quotient up a few notches but also is unbeatable to providing protection to your eyes. But not all frames suit all faces. While round frames should be avoided by people with round faces it suits rectangular faces.
Here are a few tips in picking up the right frame:
Frames that are wider on top is best suited for a heart shaped face. Frames with a straight top line such as aviators should do the trick. Round frames flatter female faces while traditional teardrop shapes work really well for men.
The strong angles on a square face can be reduced by wearing soft, curvy styles. People with square-shaped faces can go for something slightly round at the edges to soften the jawline and add length.
A person with a rectangular face can experiment with different kinds of lines ranging from vertical to horizontal . Round frames will help balance a narrow chin or a high forehead.
An oval face can pull of round, square or oversized glares because the face is longer than it is wide. Proportion should be kept in mind while choosing the frames. The frames shouldn’t be too big or too small.
Round shaped frames are not the best choice for a round face. One should go for straight and angular shapes to create the illusion of a longer profile. Cat eye-shaped glasses or retro sunglasses in square shapes are most suitable for this face.
