MS Rana, Chairman and Managing Director, Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India ltd presented a cheque of Rs 1,94,53,943 to the Union Finance Minster P Chidambaram on July 16, as a contribution towards Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund.
This in the wake of unprecedented floods in Uttarakhand. The amount includes Rs 1 Crore out of the CSR funds of the Company and Rs 94,53,943 contributed by SPMCIl employees as their one day’s salary.
The cheque was presented in the distinguished presence of Dr Arvind Mayaram, Secretary, Department Of Economic Affairs, Government of India, Dr Manoranjan Dash, director (HR) SPMCIl and PN Radkar, director (Tech) SPMCIl.
