Shri Mahesh Kumar, General Manager, Western Railway along with all Principal Head of departments visited Mahalaxmi EMU workshop recently for appraisal of performance.
The workshop was established in 1910 and carries out maintenance of both AC and AC/DC EMUs. The workshop also carries out retrofitment (conversion) of old DC EMUs into AC EMUs. GM discussed various relevant issues with senior officers & representatives of the trade unions. Kumar inaugurated the new annexure building. He also released the workshop’s Rajbhasha magazine and the Trouble Shooting directory for AC EMUs.
