Sonakshi Sinha impressed her fans and critics alike by her amazing vocal skills at the IIFA Rocks
The gorgeous Jacqueline Fernandez set the tone for the amazing night as she grooved to her popular songs Chittiyan Kallayiyan, Jumme Ki Raat and Jadoo Ki Jhappi to name a few. Following her, music sensations Javed Ali and the Nooran Sisters mesmerised the audience with a Sufi musical jugalbandi on some of the most famous songs by AR Rahman. Right from the groovy Chaiyya Chaiyya to the edgy Patakha Guddi, the spiritual Khwaja Mere Khwaja and romantic Tum Tak, the audience were treated to the best work by the maestro.
For the first time ever, Sonakshi Sinha made her debut as a singer. Accompanied by Mika Singh and Nakash Aziz, Sonakshi’s performance joined the ranks of many first timers at IIFA. Taking the audience back in time through, singer Ankit Tiwari paid a tribute to Bollywood’s dancing heroes like Shammi Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty and Govinda.
