Recently held 6th Edition of the So Delhi Tweasure Hunt at Hauz Khas Village concluded with a bang
Amidst lots of bustle, crazy activities and precise pin-point planning, began the 6th edition of the So Delhi Tweasure Hunt, presented by dineout.
The So Delhi Tweasure Hunt is a fun event where Delhiites get to solve location clues, scramble around the venue doing fun tasks to earn points, post about it on social media platforms such as Twitter, hence the tweak in the name, and then compete for the grand prizes.
There were flocks and flocks of participants pouring in for registrations, picking up their Tweasure Hunt gear and getting ready to go hunt.
This mammoth event started off at beautiful, charming The Project in Hauz Khas Village. Registrations were done, dossiers were handed out and the rules were simple solve your clue, reach the store or restaurant it leads you to, perform the spirited task set at that location, have fun, take pictures, post about it on various social media platforms and move on to the next clue.
Hauz Khas Village was taken over by the So Delhi Tweasure Hunters and volunteers spread out all over the long, winding streets and the result was a tremendous amount of cheering, scrambling and lots of fun. Here’s a sneak peek of some of the fun tasks that went on all over the village.
At Imperfecto, huge crowds cheered on participants as they tried to gobble as many golgappas as possible to a ticking stopwatch! And the best part all the golgappas were actually full of vodka.
Over at Raasta, a spirited game of Taboo went on! A snippet about the task - each team got two cards, each with a particular word along with five other words listed on the card they couldn’t say! The cardholder then tried and explain to his/her team-mates what that word was, all without using the other five words listed as Taboo words on the card. Needless to say, it was quite a hilarious riot!
“A very interactive, great experience here at Raasta there was such a different, energetic feel given off by the enthusiastic participants. We’d definitely love to do this again,” said Joy Singh, owner, Raasta.
One task that was certainly posh and swanky was the limo Task. Believe it or not, there was actually a sleek silver limo parked right in the Village, swarmed around by Hunters taking selfies with it!
Task by fun task, the Hunters ran all around Hauz Khas Village to reach the finishing point for one last funky selfie after which each of the participants were handed out a So Delhi Goodie Bag!
Speaking of the Goodie Bags, they were loaded with all manner of treats such as discount vouchers from places like Kinbuck 2, Getafix, Boombox, Poster Gully and Dulce Couture et al.
Plus, a packet of delicious Opera Chips, Nutella Salt Cookies from Bombaykery, chocolates from Sinfully Yours and really, the list goes on.
“The Tweasure Hunt is one event where planning it is just as much fun as executing it! You get to experience and discover a particular area of Delhi from a whole new perspective. We have everyone from six year olds to 60 year olds participating making it a fun and memorable day out for everyone,” said Digant Sharma, founder of So Delhi
A great event characterised by thrilled participants, the Tweasure Hunt finally came to a close with a bang, ready to come back again and be bigger and better!
