With a view to provide door-to-door health care, NTPC Farakka has started a Mobile Medicare service to treat the patients in surrounding areas under its CSR programme. The mobile medical unit will provide free medicine and blood test facility. Twenty five villages including ten in the MGR section of Jharkhand will be covered in the first phase. The mobile care unit has been launched in association with a leading NGO of the country. The new mobile healthcare service was flagged off by A K Sinha, Executive Director, NTPC Farakka in presence of other senior officials.
