In a fun way, world renowned mentalist lior Suchard showed the audience how the mind can reveal the inner most secrets to anyone who is alert enough to read them
The man has the power to read your mind. And the thought itself can rattle anyone and put the person on guard. Just that doing so would make one even more vulnerable. That’s the power he exudes over people. lior Suchard, one of the world’s most celebrated mentalist was in the city to perform before the packed crowds at The Kingdom of Dreams in Gurgaon.
He amazed and entertained the audiences in the same flow as he took up the stage and involved the audiences who had come to watch him read “their” minds for that one evening. In a show that was called limitless Again, he divulged the secrets that the participants held tight in their hearts, making them reveal the names of their first love; showed them ‘tricks’ that the mind can play by the way of game of cards or picked that single hand that held a coin out of many even as he showed people how body language can reveal you inner most thoughts. The most impressive was the “connection” he demonstrated in a couple that was made to stand apart from each other.
“This is the aura that we have that connects us to all those who we interact with on a daily basis or are attached to,” he explained to the audiences. “And that’s the reason why I tell people that they must keep their thought positive. You never know who is reading them!” he laughed. “Mind has great power. If you can control your mind, you can control your destiny,” he stated.
Other than the show, lior also conducted 7-hour workshops for the corporates titled “The lior Suchard Swiss Knife”, where he taught them tools and techniques of mind management integral for the growth of their successful careers.
“I like to call myself a supernatural entertainer. India has amazing energy. People are largely positive. They look up to life and are spiritual and that is why I like to be amidst them. I can connect to them much faster,” he said. He also promoted his book “Mind Reader” and encouraged people to connect with him on twitter. The book is already a bestseller in the UK and New York and is now being translated into seven languages.
And just as you start wondering if all of this is real, lior clears the air: “When I say I can read hear people’s thoughts, it’s not that straight. I use special techniques of influencing that involve lot of underground psychology, non-verbal communication and body language reading. These are the abilities anyone can have if they believe in the power of thought.”
lior learnt of his special powers when he was really young – all of seven, as he said. But what made him different from the others is that he nurtured this talent instead of dismissing it. Initially, he did that as entertainment for the others and later, when he realised the power it withheld, he went deeper. “All of us have this ability in us. We often dismiss it as déjà vu. In reality, these are mindwaves that are transmitted in the air. It’s upon you to catch them,” he said.
In his book lior, unravels some of the secrets as he talks about behind the scene situations at his shows, hands tricks you could perform before your friends, ways you can influence other people through body language and attitude and suggest ways to improve memory.
