A cheque of Rs 10,000 was handed over to Radhey Shyam, General Manager, Metro Railway, Kolkata on behalf of MTP Railway Men’s Union for onward transmission to the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund for the victims of Uttarakhand, disaster.
On earlier occasions also Metro Railway extended their helping hands for the victims of following natural calamities:
Earthquake in Maharastra (latur).
Earthquake in Gujarat.
Cyclone in Odhissa.
Aila in West Bengal.
