Fashion designer Manish Arora collaborated with the high-end jewellery line from the House of Tatas’ latest collection Musee Du luxe, for his tenth anniversary presentation at Paris Fashion Week. The partnership was born out of an intrinsic synergy in design philosophy and the contemporary, international outlook shared by both brands.
The ramp at Paris Fashion Week witnessed a glamorous edge with jewellery collection — Musee Du luxe – Museum of luxury, inspired by the cities’ sublime architecture, rich culture and inherent joie de vivre. Engraved padlock on Pont des Arts Bridge inspired a statement layered necklace set, embellished with brilliant cut diamonds set on three gold tubes.
The selection at Manish’s show also included pieces from other classic collections such as Krsna, Banaras, Awadh, Jewels of the Crown, Egypt, Celestium and Fire.
A rich palette of psychedelic colours and kitsch motifs in garments that combine traditional Indian crafts like embroidery, appliqué and beading with Western silhouettes carried a definitive imprint of Manish’s distinctive design.
Combine the unique concoction of hues that are Arora’s trademark with Zoya’s outstanding craftsmanship and the result was an eccentric amalgamation of high-fashion and understated luxury.
