Magnificent girls, jaw-dropping luxury cars and mind-blowing action — yes, we are talking about James Bond and his larger than life British lifestyle. The suave secret service agent is known to pursue royal Brit culture, with his expensive suits, rare vodka drinks, and sophisticated demeanor.

While the world awaits James Bond’s Spectre, British High Commission’s ‘Bond is GREAT’ campaign in association with VisitBritain, UKTI and British Council gives you a sneak-peek in Bond’s glorious life, filled with action.

Marvelous Motors

The magnificent motors driven by James Bond have their origins attached to the United Kingdom. From his first car — the Sunbeam Alpine Series II, which was assembled in England to his famous silver-birch Aston Martin DB5 in Goldfinger, many of these mean machines feature a Brit touch to complement Bond's breath-stopping stunts.

To match his pace, Bond’s villains also opt for a lustrous set of wheels, originally founded in the UK in his latest Sprctre. Worth a whopping $1 million, the Jaguar C-X75 car promises to keep viewers at the edge-of-their-seats during the movie’s high-adrenaline car chases.

Shaken Not Stirred

Although the vodka martini, ‘shaken not stirred,’ is the cocktail James Bond is best known for, but it is not the only drink the agent prefers. Author of twelve Bond novels, Ian Fleming, has associated the spy with a unique mix of classic spirits. Vesper martini, made from london’s dry gin — Gordon, is a true Bond drink, which he claims to have invented in Casino Royale. Besides martinis, 007 knows his liquor and has a taste for fine champagne, scotch and soda, and sparkling wines.

Suit it up like Bond

Dark colored, well-fitted tuxedos are Bond’s favorite attire for an eventful evening. He opts for quality fabric and well-kept suits and prefers pairing them with a crisp white shirt.

Slim ties, glossy shoes, and a sleek black gun define a classic Bond look. The spy carries several British brands with pride, and was seen sporting a classic Barbour Beacon Heritage Sports Jacket in Skyfall as well as a chic Matchless suede jacket with style in Spectre.

Bond Girls

Bond’s fondness towards glamour, curves, and a daring attitude is reflected through his choice of women. English actress, Eunice Gayson, is best known for her role in the second bond movie, Dr. No, where she introduces herself as “Trench. Sylvia Trench.”

Bond then mimicked her, with his now trademark, “Bond. James Bond.” In Spectre, Monica Bellucci joined the cast as lucia Sciarra, becoming, at the age of 50, the oldest actress to be cast as a Bond girl.  In short, James Bond is an embodiment of style, dashing looks and a lot of oomph.
