Chanakya-The Grand Presidential Floor at ITC Maurya and The lalit legacy Towers are on the list of 25 top presidential suites in India
From Bill Clinton to George Bush, Barack Obama and many other high-profile foreign dignitaries, Chanakya-The Grand Presidential Floor at ITC Maurya has been the first choice of eminent guests. The reasons are many. It is a sprawling area that includes bedrooms, private dining areas, meeting rooms, modern hi-tech office with the latest gadgets, loaded to take on the work pressure of high profile guests.
Private meeting rooms, holding areas, a large summit room, family room, a satellite kitchen and pantry, wellness center and modern bath with an amethyst wall with inlay work are other features. The colours are drawn from hues of saffron and shades of mauve and violet. The best feature of the suite is the constant attention that surrounds one imperceptibly. Chanakya takes its design inspiration from the Mauryan dynasty. Deep brown silken wall coverings, décor accented by mother of pearl and mirror in-lay designs, and silk cushions offer guests understated luxury. It has set new standards for excellence and therefore there are several awards that come under its kitty. Recently, it was chosen as one of the top 25 presidential suites in India by Travel and leisure.
The list also includes presidential suites in Oberoi Udaivilas, Udaipur, JW Marriott, Mumbai, Taj Falaknuma Palace, Hyderabad and The lalit legacy Suites at The lalit legacy Towers.
“It is a great honour as we are completing 25 successful years. We were the first ones to have The lalit legacy Towers. It comprises 53 contemporary suites and 25 luxury rooms that feature refurbished furniture and recycled artefacts,” informed Vivek Shukla, general manager of The lalit.
