Colourful scarves and bags showcased along with the prêt line by the fashion designer stole the show at The Oberoi
The silence of the evening at The Oberoi was broken by the clicking heels, clattering of glasses and girly giggles. The only lightning at the venue was of the colourful lights placed to dazzle the ramp, which was set to perfection. It was the celebration of the merger of Oriflame Sweden with designer Ritu Kumar, who presented her prêt line along with new bags, wallets and stoles.
Music was the high point of the show. Yellows, whites and blacks were the colours of the night. Ritu said, “I have tried to fit in the new line with Oriflame appropriately with our bags, wallets and scarves with the floral, animal and bird motifs. I have always believed in bright shades.” The fashion show was followed by Hari and Sukhmani’s musical performance, making the evening a delightful experience.
