The Minister of State (I/C) for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Mr Dharmendra Pradhan, interacted with  students of Petronet Kashmir Super-30 and felicitated them for cracking the engineering entrance exams.

Having started its journey from the western part of the country, Petronet lNG limited has extended its education CSR to Kashmir. Keeping in mind the lack of facilities of coaching in the state, Pll has taken a step forward  and sponsored the engineering entrance test coaching to 40 under privileged students. Aspirant students (35 boys and 5 girls) enrolled themselves in a 11-month residential programme.

Despite hardships in  Kashmir and educational institutions being closed down, the project continued to function. And 28 students (including two girls) were successful for IIT-JEE. Students from underprivileged backgrounds from places like Kupwara, Pulwama, Anantnag and Shopian,   showed great determination and got selected in prestigious educational institutes.

The Jammu and Kashmir Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs,  Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali, was also present.
