Branding of 52 Card Balance Checking Terminal (CBCT) machines in North-South metro stations of Kolkata
Metro Railway has been constantly striving for increasing non-fare revenue in the Covid times. On December 16, a milestone has been achieved as a branding agreement of 52 Card Balance Checking Terminal (CBCT) machines has been signed with a famous TMT bar manufacturing company. These 52 machines have been installed in 26 North-South Metro stations.
Metro users are requested to use these CBCT machines to check their smart card status as well as balance and place their smart cards on these machines for 30 seconds to update their balance after recharging their cards on-line. Metro users can check the status of the tokens (time of issue and expiry as well as source and destination stations). Commuters can also check last five entry/exit details through smart cards with the help of these machines.
