'I don't mind playing second fiddle'

The south siren Shriya Saran doesn’t mind if co-stars Ajay Devgn and Tabu walk away with significant portion of the film. “Drishyam is an amazing film and I am happy to be a part of it,” says Saran who is also playing mother of a girl in the film. “I have no issues with it as I have played the role of a mother in my earlier projects. Vidya Balan, too, has played the role of a mother in Paa,” says she. 

Saran also feels that there is an unnecessary pressure on celebrities to appear perfect each time they step out. She says, “I shamelessly repeat my clothes and wear accessories that I love. People do comment but I don’t care. I want to send out a message to the girls that vanity is good but only up to a certain point.”
