Interesting hair accessories inspired by tribal designs were the high point of Pia Pauro’s resort collection
They were bright and really big. Some had a tail and a few had ruffles. It was definitely not the dresses but the headgears that the models sported during Pia Pauro’s show that caught the attention of the guests. It was a winter resort collection inspired by the folk art Navajo. The colour palette, ranging from yellow, burnt orange, pepper pink, blue, khaki and bone white, reflected the shades of Arizona desert. The embroidery was taken from the appliqués in horse motifs. laser cut in Santa Fe patterns was used in kaftans, lehengas and saris.
