School of Mass Communication, IP University, organised a two-day national seminar on gender sensitisation and media at their Dwarka campus recently. It was inaugurated by the vice chancellor of the university Prof Anup Beniwal. He said on the occasion that media should be very careful and alert on this front.
It should be practiced with heart, however media has been hijacked by market and technology due to which its natural sensibility and concern have vanished. Prof Sanjeev Bhanawat from Rajasthan University, Prof CP Singh, dean, USMC, Dr Vartika Nanda of Delhi University and around two dozen experts of the subject coming from across the country expressed their views on the subject.
