Chef Noah Barnes from The Hungry Monkey shares a few useful tricks which can help you in the kitchen:
When preparing a vegetable soup, try and use vegetable stock instead of water. Do not boil the water but let it simmer for a long time. That will allow the aroma of the veggies to blend with the stock and will add a distinct flavour to the soup.
Grilling a chicken breast generally leaves it juiceless and dry because chicken from the broilers tend to be more fibrous. To avoid that, dissolve salt and sugar in water and immerse the chicken pieces in it for a while. That will make the pieces comparatively tender and juicier. For better results, soak the pieces overnight.
The best way to make fish roulade is to mix a number of fish varieties, preferably in scraps. Wholesome and premium quality fishes are best avoided. The recipe requires the fish pieces to be mashed and mixed with either spinach or paprika (spice) so a number of fishes add a very different flavour to the preparation.
