Hindi fortnight was observed from September 2 to 16 during the Rajbhasha month in Regional Office, Gurgaon of Oriental Bank of Commerce. Hindi Day and Prize distribution function was organised on September 14. Rajesh Kumar, IRS, Dy Commissioner, Central Excise graced the occasion as chief guest. Essay writing, Rajbhasha gyan competition, Rajbhasha conference, Rajbhasha workshop and desk training were organised for staff members. Chopra said in his speech that we all should respect Indian languages as well as strive to propagate Hindi language and remove hesitation among officials to do their maximum official work in Hindi. Meeting was concluded with vote of thanks.
