With a view to promote and publicise Hindi language for official work, the Hindi Pakhwara is being organised at NTPC Dadri from September 1 to 15. On this occasion, Debasis Sarkar, Group General Manager urged the employees through an appeal for promotion of Hindi and implementation of Rajbhasha Policy in the day-to-day official work.
A Hindi workshop was also organised. Speaking on the occasion, Aloke Gupta,GM (O&M-Th) mentioned the importance, acceptance and wide circulation of Hindi in professional and personal life. While sharing his views, renowned poet Kunwar Bechan, said that the Hindi language is the medium of culture and civilisation and should be promoted and widely used in various communications. Bechan also presented songs from his rich collection. On this occasion, AK Ojha, HOD (HR) mentioned that Hindi is the reflection of the personality and effective medium of expression and also urged the employees to use more Hindi in their official work.
S Gouri Shankar, GM (O&M-Gas), head of departments, senior officials and employees attended the workshop. As part of Hindi Pakhwara, various competitions such as Hindi quiz, essay, sulekh, noting and drafting, Hindi knowledge and poems/songs, et al. are also being organised.
