Tata Power Delhi Distribution is all set to provide its consumers a one cut solution to bring Down Energy Consumption and Reduce Electricity Bills. It has tied up with the leading Energy Service Companies (ESCOs) to provide the energy saving solution.
As part of its ongoing endeavor to promote Energy Efficiency and to provide value added Energy Efficiency services like comprehensive energy audit and implementation of energy performance improvement projects with guaranteed energy savings commitment to consumers, Tata Power-DDl has empaneled seven Energy Service Companies (ESCOs) through open bidding after receiving directions from the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission(DERC).
To offer a single window solution to customers, Tata Power-DDl along with empaneled ESCOs shall offer a turnkey package of energy efficiency services like:
ESCO financing the project CAPEX with revenue sharing between consumer and ESCO. This service is available for all type of customer segments including commercial and industrial.
The empaneled companies will audit the equipment on a nominal change and will submit a detailed report highlighting scope of bringing efficiency in power consumption. Also Tata Power-DDl being the only utility empaneled as a Grade 1 Energy Service Company (ESCO) by BEE and having successful implemented different energy efficiency programs such as Bachat lamp Yojana (BlY), lED Bulb, Replacement of old AC with BEE 5 star evaluated AC, Peak load moving, Automated Demand Response (ADR) and directing vitality review for its purchasers.
