The THDC India limited (THDCIl), Nodal Agency successfully organised Uttarakhand State level Painting Competition on Energy Conservation under National Campaign on Energy Conservation, 2017 of Ministry of Power, at Rishikesh.
For this State level Competition Students were divided in two categories. In category A — 50 students of class 4, 5 and 6 and in category B — 50 students class 7, 8 and 9 participated in this competition. The winners in each category were rewarded with Rs 20,000 as first prize, Rs 15,000 as second prize and Rs 10,000 as third prize along with 10 consolation prize of Rs 5000, each. All 100 participating students were given a memento, certificate and cash prize of Rs 2000.
Hl Bharaj, CGM (Services/S and E) and J Behera, GM (Finance), THDCIl and Veer Singh, DGM(P and A)/Nodal Officer as well as other senior officers were also present on this occasion. The first, second and third prize winners of category-A will represent Uttarakhand in the national level painting competition at Delhi.
