Greece’s Santorini, Thailand’s Ko Tao and Portugal’s Madeira are the most preferred islands among global travelers
An an adventurous dive in Bali or the breathtaking sunset at Skaros Rock in Greece seem to be ruling the traveller’s choices. According to a survey conducted by Trip Advisor, backpackers love going to island countries like Philippines, Thailand and Hawai.
Few of the top island choices that emerged in the survey that was conducted on world view are Providenciales, Turks and Caicos; Roatan, Honduras; Santorini, Greece; Ko Tao, Thailand and Madeira, Portugal. In Asia, the most preferred island getaways are Ko lanta, Ko Phangan, Phuket and KoSamui, Thailand; lombok, Indonesia and Boracay and Palawan Island, Philippines.
