NlC always feels, service to the society and helping the people in the need is its responsibility. As part of this, the company under its Corporate Social Responsibility scheme, organising free buttermilk distribution stalls for the people in and around Neyveli to combat heavy summer heat. Another free butter milk distribution stall was inaugurated by N Muthu, ED/HR, NlC in the presence of M Karthikeyan GM/TA, of the company at Mandarakuppam Bus Terminus. It is organising six buttermilk distribution stalls by engaging people service group members, to serve around 20,000 people in a day at different locations like, NlC Arch Gate, Nehru Square, Central Bus Stand, General Hospital, and Skew Bridge Junction with a cost of Rs13.5 lakh each month.
