SHAKTI MOHAN now grabs a film

From being a contestant at various dance shows to now being one of the judges at one of the most prestigious talent hunts, Dance Plus 2, Shakti Mohan has indeed come a long way. “My journey till now has been extremely overwhelming. I never had any of this planned.  Dance has always been my passion and I just followed my

passion blindly and whole-heartedly,” she told us while introducing two members of her team, who are now in the top 12 of the show.

If you thought mentoring was early enough, Shakti will soon be seen romancing Salman Yusuff Khan, winner of Dance India Dance 1 and a choreographer of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, in Remo D’Souza’s new film.  Predicatably Bollywood’s ace choreographer-director’s new project is about more dancing and a dash of romance. little wonder then that the young talent brigade now sees TV dance shows as a fasttrack platform to fame and fortune.

“My dancing laurels won me a  role in the TV show Dil, Dosti Dance.   However, after watching my new movie directed by Remo Sir, you won’t miss me on TV,” said the conmtestant-turned-celebrity.

Shakti is now inspiration to Sushant Khatri and Piyush Bhagat. “I got rejected in season 1 and that made me work ten times more because I really wanted to be a part of this,” said Sushant, keen on making the quick ride to fame and getting closer to his dream. “lyrical dance is all about flow, emotion, expression and looks, a complete package.” looks like the guys have learnt the art of striking the iron while it is still hot.
