Aishwarya, who is not part of social media on a regular basis, unlike several stars, has a host of things planned to make the day a memorable one for her fans. For the first time ever, while at Cannes, she will participate in a Twitter chat wherein she will share her experiences and answer questions. She also plans to share an exclusive video where she will take her fans on a journey of her ‘day’ at the Cannes Film Fest.

It was all red for Katrina Kaif on the second day of her outing at the Cannes’ red carpet as she chose a ravishing red Elie Saab gown. However, her bright red lips couldn’t compliment much to her flaming red hair. The actress drew mixed response from the fashion police. Surprisingly, Mallika Sherawat appeared stronger on the platform, fetching bouquets by her fans and critics alike. She wore a fuchsia coloured gown by designer Alexis Mabille. Known for donning revealing outfits, she chose to duck skin show this time.

Shabana Azmi has slammed the media frenzy around celebrities’ fashion choice at the Cannes Film Festival. The actress, in a Twitter post, wrote the international festival is a serious event and should be given due respect. “Today Cannes seems to be a clothes parade! It's a serious film festival guys not a Fashion event. How abt focusing on films and filmakers!(sic)” she tweeted. Indian media has its eyes set on the ongoing festival as Bollywood star Katrina Kaif made her debut red carpet appearance and actresses Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor are set to attend it in the coming days.
